Where to Roller Skate with Your Kids in Metro Vancouver

Roller skating is making a comeback! Maybe for you it never left, but for kids, TikToc and movies celebrating all things ’80s are giving roller skating new life, and we are here for it. From the graceful groover, to the novice, we have rounded up places to take the cool kids roller skating in Metro Vancouver!

Places to Skate Indoors

Rolla Skate Club

You could say that this club started the revival of roller skating here in Metro Vancouver. Throwing festivals and pop-up roller skate events, they finally found a home at the PNE. With a 20,000 sqft. space called Rollerland, it’s the place to skate.


They offer lessons and open skate for all ages. Try out their Sparkle Night, details here. Renting the Rolla Skate Truck is on our list of dream birthday parties. They arrive with 100+ pairs of roller skates and staff. Rental skates are included, you provide the safety gear.

Central City Fun Park

Hit this big rink for some first-timer family fun! Central City Fun Park is Metro Vancouver’s largest indoor amusement park, and it features a large skating rink, among other fun things. First-timers and pros alike will love the ample space and tunes for grooving. Roller skate rental is available but be sure to bring your safety gear. After moving and grooving, grab a snack or head to their lively arcade.

Looking for lessons for your little skater or maybe even for yourself? Perhaps you want to step up your skills with dance classes. Roller Owl offers lessons for kids and adults. Learn to roll or step up your skills in a fun and safe environment. Not only that, but you can also book parties! Skates are available for rental but you provide the safety gear.
